Is it all just for the fun of it? Well fun IS a big part of it, but there's lots more to your Kindermusik enrollment than just fun.

One of the sweetest things to see is the beautiful community that grows within a Kindermusik class, a community that blossoms into friendships not just among the children, but amongst the adults too!

The longer your child stays enrolled, the more they get out of it

Studies have found that repeated enrollment in Kindermusik improves a child’s ability to plan, guide, and control their own behavior. Here’s just a quote from one of those enlightening studies:

"Children currently enrolled in Kindermusik showed higher levels of self-control than those never enrolled and those previously enrolled. ...This suggests that in order for children to reap the benefit of increased self-control as a result of Kindermusik participation, it is important to have repeated and recent Kindermusik experiences and remain enrolled in the program."

We love meeting new families, but you and your child are irreplaceable. The relationships that form with your child's first music teachers are uniquely impactful, and there's no one we'd rather have back in Kindermusik than our beloved families that we've grown to know and love so much!

There's so much to look forward to together in Kindermusik, and there's no one we'd rather do Kindermusik with than YOU!

     As you child warms up to the classroom (or right off the bat), you may see him/her start to become more active in our large spaces, ie RUNNING! How Repetition Strengthens The Brain

  How Repetition Strengthens the Brai n Parents always cheer - silently and sometimes even out loud! - when we announce the start of new units, mainly because they're ready for something new. We get it!! But why is it that we don't have "new" every week in Kindermusik? Why do we incorporate so much repetition in our lessons? In early childhood, repetition forms the basis for learning, skill development, and accomplishment. Each of our brain cells can have 15,000 connections (or synapses) to other brain cells. So, how do we strengthen those neural pathways? By using them! Young children repeat the same thing over and over and over because they are strengthening the connections in their brain that are developing from that repeated experience. They also repeat what they love and what gives them joy. So when they ask to hear the same Kindermusik song for the 100th time, know that the repetition is helping to grow their brains!
